The spacious two-bedroom apartment was perfect for our family, and our three dogs enjoyed their stay too! The location was fantastic, close to the river and dining spots. The bar had a cozy atmosphere, and the cocktails were delightful, a real treat after a long day with the kids.
For dads, it would be great if there were better cooking supplies for families with children.

Kicked off with a delightful experience at Quay Ingredient – proper tasty brunch! Then there’s the bar at The Vermont, serving stunning cocktails that'd make even the staunchest Geordie smile. staff were smashing, especially Claire, who turned our disaster of a night around! Mind-blowing views from our new room too!
That initial experience with the apartment was more like a horror show – stinky drains and cold showers galore! Plus, navigating the hotel’s access was like trying to find a taxi on New Year’s Eve, proper faff!

Great vibes and good location!
Had a fab stay for 3 nights! The reception crew was super friendly and helped with extra forks when we ran short. Perfect location near the river and shops too. Just wish the kitchen stuff was better – needed more plates and no washing up liquid, so we had to grab some. Still, loved hanging out at the bar!

The stay started off rocky with a strong smell of drains and cold heating in our apartment. after discussing the issues with the staff, we were moved to a beautiful suite with a fantastic view of the Tyne Bridge. This new room was clean and comfortable, making the rest of our stay quite pleasant. The cocktails at the bar were a highlight, and breakfast had a good selection.

frustrating experience with potential
The staff member who assisted us showed genuine concern for our comfort and went out of his way to help us during our initial check-in. The city view from our apartment was quite lovely, adding a nice backdrop to our stay. After the initial issues, we were offered a better room, which was a positive gesture.
We faced significant challenges finding the correct location upon arrival.
